More landscape.
The pavilion is imagined as a pause within an olive grove. A simple roof gives shelter; a quiet platform establishes a place to sit. The surrounding trees remain the main event.
The design asks how little is needed to feel at home outdoors. Its boundaries are measured in shade, a change of texture and the sound of the wind rather than a continuous line of walls.
02 / Treading lightly
A place to stay.
A reason to slow down.
Materials are imagined with weathering in mind. Stone meets the ground directly, while slender metal elements leave the view open. The palette takes its cues from bark, dry grass and the silvery underside of an olive leaf.
Small spaces can feel generous when they borrow from what surrounds them. Here, a long view becomes part of the room, and the evening light becomes its most important furnishing.
