Fictional concept / Design study
Enough room to slow down.
A fictional retreat investigates a modest enclosed space with a generous relationship to its surroundings.
01 / The idea
Modest volume / timber / shelter
A clear roof and a sheltered threshold give the small volume a simple organisation. The study treats the outside setting as part of the experience of the home.
02 / Developing the concept
Questions for the next stage.
A real proposal would need site ecology, weather exposure and material sourcing to be assessed. The imagery does not establish ecological benefits.
