Fictional concept / Design study
Another life around the same centre.
A fictional renovation study explores an existing courtyard as the organising space for a new way of living.
01 / The idea
Existing masonry / new thresholds
Restrained additions make the contrast between retained walls and new elements visible. Openings connect rooms to the courtyard without erasing its sense of enclosure.
02 / Developing the concept
Questions for the next stage.
The imagined proposal would require measured surveys, condition assessment and review of any consent requirements. It does not document a real restoration.
